MISSION TRIP TO COSTA RICA Print E-mail
Mission trip to Costa Rica ….. Shiloh UCC –York will depart for their seventh mission trip to Costa Rica in December of this year. Currently there are several openings available for anyone that would like to experience the excitement and spiritual awareness of a mission trip.  It is perfect for someone who is a novice to the mission experience, as Shiloh has been to Costa Rica six times. The accommodations are excellent for folks of all ages and guaranteed to be pleasing and rewarding. Whether a "newbie", or an old-hand at missions, there is something for everyone.  We’ll be painting and staining at Shiloh’s missionary church in Limón, doing community outreach, and working with the parishioners of Harvest Tabernacle.  Won’t you prayerfully consider joining us this December 28th, 2010 through January 6th, 2011?  You may call Mike or Wanda Bentzel at 717-764-1864 for more information, or e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The TENTH ANNUAL Gene Gladfelter Memorial Mile will be held on Saturday, August 14 at 8:30 a.m. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. Applications to run or walk may be found via the link above or in the church office. Volunteers are needed for this event. If you would like to donate a door prize for the race, be a volunteer, or just want more information please contact the church office.

 
 
FALL FESTIVAL 2010 Print E-mail
FALL FESTIVAL 2010 – PLANNING UNDERWAY! The biennial (held every other year) Fall Festival (Yard Sale and Craft Show) is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. We are looking for your help in “getting ready” for our big day. As you do your spring cleaning, please keep in mind future donations to the yard sale. We will be asking for workable, “sale-able” goods, (no clothing – please donate to the clothing drives). Fall Festival proceeds benefit the church’s building fund with 10% tithed to the American Diabetes Association. Please call the church office with any questions. Thank you very much!
