Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen

Our Daily Bread was established in 1983 by the nine Catholic Churches of York County, in cooperation with the local Catholic Charities. Now some 63 churches and civic groups have been recruited to participate in supplying and serving hot casseroles of food and cleaning up after the meals have been served to those in need without any eligibility requirements.

Once a month several volunteers from Shiloh UCC prepare the food, and on the following day they provide volunteers to serve and prepare meals at the Soup Kitchen. All ingredients are purchased by the church. Church members also share Christmas cookies with the soup kitchen on an annual basis.
