HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
York Habitat for Humanity is a Christian Housing Ministry which seeks to eliminate poverty housing in York County, PA. It is voluntary donors and families working together to make decent, affordable home ownership available to people who do not have sufficient income to achieve it on their own. They seek to make decent shelter for everyone a matter of conscience and action.
Shiloh united Church of Christ seeks to involve the members of our fellowship in the various projects of Habitat especially Building on Faith which occurs during the Fall. Shiloh continues to support this ministry as a Covenant Partner through financial contributions and the encouragement of our members to serve as volunteers. Shiloh’s contact person is the Rev. David Danneberger who is also chair of the Faith Relations Committee of York Habitat.
