Meet our new Administrative Assistant.
Hi Everyone!
I am Courtney, I am Shiloh UCC's New Admin Assistant. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 16 years. We have three active children. We have 4 dogs as well, so its a very busy house!! Family is everything to me, so we love spending time together. I have spent the past 15 years in education as a Para Professional; I love working with children, especially the special needs population. I recently decided that I needed a change, God opened that door here and I accepted!! I am excited to start this new Journey with you all and can't wait to meet you, so stop on out and say Hello :) Meet our new Family and Youth Ministry Coordinator.
Hi! My name is Brandi. I am Shiloh UCC’s new Family and Youth Ministry Coordinator. My husband, Andrew and I along with our three children. I am an experienced educator within all age groups from pre-school to young adult. I went to school at Penn State York and studied Human Development and Family Studies. I have served the special needs population for over 10 years as an educator and found my time with that population very rewarding. Before I became a mom, I worked as a nursing assistant here in York and also in Jacksonville, Florida where we lived for a short period of time.
My family is very important to me, and once you get to know me, you will realize my conversations tend to always be based around them 😊. I enjoy spending time with my family, going for family walks, bike rides, cooking on our grill, and fires in our backyard! You can also find me helping out my parents who also live in West York, outback on our patio enjoying a nice cup of coffee, or in our garden when the weather cooperates. Most recently my family and I purchased a small boat that we plan on taking to local lakes to go fishing and just enjoying time together as a family. We love traveling, we have family in Florida and California. Usually, every summer we make a trip to Florida or California. We try to visit family as much as we can! My father-in-law lives in Jacksonville, Florida and my sister lives in Rocklin, California. I grew up going to my grandparent's church St. Paul's United Methodist here in York, Pa. My grandfather taught Sunday school, was in choir and heavily involved within this church. I went to church with them often. I also started attending a youth group in my teenage years at Pathways Community church. My youth group had a large impact on my days as a teen and helped me through some of my toughest years. I feel very passionate about family and creating an environment that’s realistic and comforting to all. I am so excited to be starting this journey here at Shiloh UCC. I hope to create a program that will draw the youth and families here to our church not only during our events but for our Sunday services. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you and serving our community together! |
