Meet another new member of the team

Meet the new Youth and Family Ministry Coordinator.

Hi! My name is Brandi Shoff. I am Shiloh UCC’s new Youth and Family Ministry Coordinator. My husband, Andrew and I along with our three children live here in Shiloh, PA. I am an experienced educator within all age groups from pre-school to young adult. I went to school at Penn State York and studied Human Development and Family Studies. I have served the special needs population for over 10 years as an educator and found my time with that population very rewarding. Before I became a mom, I worked as a nursing assistant here in York and also in Jacksonville, Florida where we lived for a short period of time.
My family is very important to me, and once you get to know me, you will realize my conversations tend to always be based around them 😊.  I enjoy spending time with my family, going for family walks, bike rides, cooking on our grill, and fires in our backyard!  You can also find me helping out my parents who also live in West York, outback on our patio enjoying a nice cup of coffee, or in our garden when the weather cooperates. Most recently my family and I purchased a small boat that we plan on taking to local lakes to go fishing and just enjoying time together as a family.
We love traveling, we have family in Florida and California. Usually, every summer we make a trip to Florida or California. We try to visit family as much as we can! My father-in-law lives in Jacksonville, Florida and my sister lives in Rocklin, California.
I grew up going to my grandparent's church St. Paul's United Methodist here in York, Pa. My grandfather taught Sunday school, was in choir and heavily involved within this church. I went to church with them often. I also started attending a youth group in my teenage years at Pathways Community church. My youth group had a large impact on my days as a teen and helped me through some of my toughest years. I feel very passionate about family and creating an environment that’s realistic and comforting to all. I am so excited to be starting this journey here at Shiloh UCC. I hope to create a program that will draw the youth and families here to our church not only during our events but for our Sunday services.
 
I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you and serving our community together!

SHILOH UCC - WIFI
Shiloh UCC offers Wi-Fi access to its members and guests.   Our members and guests can access the internet to read the Bible passages referenced during our Sunday Worship.  Our ministers and staff can use the wealth of resources available on the internet to educate our parishioners.  Community groups utilizing our Church can use our internet to aid its members. We can use social media to tell others about our church activities or to share parts of the service that were especially meaningful to them.  Of course, we have taken every effort to keep our internet network secure.  The guest network is separate and sheltered from the secure network in the Church office.  Guests are also asked to agree to the terms of the network prior to joining.  Next time you are in our church, log on to ‘ShilohUCC’ and access our Wi-Fi.
